Peter Carter | CEO
Peter received a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury in 1971, and in 1998 graduated with a Masters of Technology Management from the University of Waikato, Technology Management and Innovation Executive Programme.
With 36 years’ experience with Carter Holt Harvey, and one of its predecessor companies, Peter has a huge depth of understanding and experience in the development of technology relevant to forest industry needs. He has broad experience from a wide range of technology development projects along the forest growing and processed wood product value chain, and has applied his training and skills to deliver quality technology based outcomes.
Nigel Sharplin | Director
Nigel Sharplin holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury and has completed an Auckland University Diploma in Business Administration.
Nigel has been a Director of fibre-gen Instruments Limited since 2001 and is the founder of inFact Limited, the technology development partner of fibre-gen.
Nigel currently oversees large product and system development initiatives and has delivered inFact designs worth over NZ$150m in export product.
Maria Kay | Marketing Manager
Maria Kay holds a Masters Degree in Business Management from the European University (Universidade Europeia) in Lisbon, Portugal.
Maria has extensive experience in new technology start-ups and international markets, having worked previously for YikeBike Limited.
Accomplished Manager with an interest in dynamic companies within a fast-paced environment. Experienced in marketing and business development functions with emphasis in digital marketing, customer relationship management, partner relationship management and implementation of business processes, information systems and business solutions.
